Vizio, mostly known for its low-cost HDTVs, will be making its first appearance in the stand-alone Blu-ray player market in April 2009.  Set with an MSRP of $199.99, Vizio is hoping to make a splash with its first ever DVD/BD player. $199.99 is widely considered the “magic” number when it comes to mass consumer adoption.  With it being profile 2.0 compatible, having 7.1 analog outputs and decoding Dolby TrueHD and DTS-Master Audio, it looks like it’ll be giving more expensive players a run for the consumer’s money.
