For those looking to purchase a new Home Theater, this may be the way to go.
Panasonic has announced that this spring, they will be releasing two new Home Theater in a Box (HTiB). The good thing is, they will be priced under $1000. The models are the 1,000-watt SC-BT200 (SRP $599) and 1,250-watt SC-BT300 (SRP $699).
Both have a 7.1-channel surround sound, integrated iPod dock, SD card slot and access to BD-Live content. In addition to BD-Live, they have VIERA CAST service via Internet which will give access to Amazon’s VOD service and stream videos from Youtube, Bloomberg News and more.
The SC-BT200 comes with two left-right tower speakers, a small center channel and surrounds. The SC-BT300 (pictured below) comes with 7 mid-sized speakers. Both have wireless-ready surround speakers, although neither comes with wireless speakers.
Either way these are good buys for everyone.
Pretty sweet setup, ideal for those just getting into home theater.
Yeah I wish these were out when I bought my Onkyo HTiB. I got it for the same price but no Blu-ray player.
