Reports around the net have been providing information that Disney is planning to release Snow White on Blu-ray on October 6th. If you remember right, we actually reported this news to you a couple months ago but felt the need to bring you this update but once more the cover art has been added. (Although not yet confirmed as anything could change before print time.) Looking back at Disney’s Blu-ray campaign and the effort to get the word out about Blu-ray this comes to no surprise. The release is weeks before the DVD is out on store shelves, we are assuming Disney will give the same treatment to this Platinum release just like the previous titles(Sleeping Beauty and Pinocchio). This of course will help the format move forward and shows Disney’s support towards Blu-ray. I am sure many enthusiast will be happy to hear the news!
This is rather early for any real specs or extras to be revealed, but we are sure Disney will not let down the fans, Snow White will probably receive the same treatment as Pinocchio and Sleeping Beauty before it. We’ll keep you posted as more information is revealed.

Disney has announced that there will be different Snow White Blu-ray options.
The Blu-ray Platinum edition is pictured above. Disney is also catering to those that are not willing to make the jump to Blu-ray, so they will get a Snow White DVD Packing.
For collectors there will be three (3) different sets. The first one will be Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Collector Book Set. This will contain a book along with the Blu-ray of the film. I will post the picture of this later when I get a hold of it.

The second will be Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Seven Dwarf Plush Gift Set. This set will include plush toys along the Blu-ray of the film.
The last set will be Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Limited Edition Collector Set. This will include a couple of goodies displayed in the picture below!
