A possible speculation of when we can enjoy the JJ Abrams Star Trek Movie on Blu-ray? A pre-order page on Amazon Germany has the date as the 5th October, which Trekmovie.com seems to think is very likely, for Europe at least.  USA Tends to be either a month or so ahead or behind. Here’s a list of rumored Special Features…

• 1080p and a 2.35:1 aspect ratio.
• Dolby TrueHD 5.1
• A JJ Abrams, joined by Alex Kurtzman, Bryan Burke, Damon Lindelof and Roberto Orci, commentary track.
• Featurettes on the references to TOS, the casting, the starships, the aliens and the planets.
• Deleted scenes covering backstory cut from the theatrical release.
• BD-Live.

Ofcourse, none of this is yet confirmed by Paramount but its definitely cool to speculate and the suprising amount of deleted scenes!
