Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced Resident Evil: Afterlife for release on blu-ray and 3D blu-ray on December 28.  The 3D Blu-ray release will also contains the 2D version of the film. Both of the blu-ray releases will contain a PS3 theme, deleted and extended scenes, filmmaker commentary, outtakes, an “Undead Vision” picture-in-picture mode, BD-Live functionality, as well as other behind the scenes special features.
