It would seem that everyone is recognizing May The 4th This year as Star Wars Day and SideShow Collectibles has gone all out. First up, they are releasing a 1/6 scale R2-D2, the fan-favorite astro droid. He measures in at a nice 6.75″ and is loaded with accessories including a new light saber that doubles as a magnetic tool to open the droids compartments for the add ons. Also included are the accessories that allow him to fit in the any collection, regardless which part of the universe you collect. He releases around December 2014 and costs $149.99 USD before the taxes and shipping charges. This little guy hands down belongs in everyone’s collection.
