The blockbuster hit The Amazing Spider-man 2 already has plans to be released to Blu-ray in the UK. The Marvel comic book sequel is directed by Marc Webb and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx & Dane DeHaan, with Paul Giamatti & Sally Field.
The Blu-ray is slated for 3D and 2D Blu-ray on September 1st. It is speculated that the US release will also be sometime around that date or possibly September 2nd (due to films typically releasing on Tuesdays in the US). The Blu-ray will be available in a 3D combo pack that will include both the 3D and 2D versions or you can buy the 2D only version.
