AMC’s THE WALKING DEAD season premiere destroys viewing records

On Sunday nights, there is usually something on to watch to discuss at work the next day. It’s clear that on October 12th, AMC’s THE WALKING DEAD was the only thing anyone was watching. The show broke TV viewing records with 17.3-million viewers watching the fifth season’s premiere. This beat the previous season’s premiere by around 1-million viewers and is a lot more than any other show. The projected numbers by AMC predict that the season finale could be another million or two more.

AMC’s THE WALKING DEAD is on Sunday nights at 9/8c.
