Warwick Davis joins STAR WARS: EPISODE VII

WarwickandEwoksIt looks like another familiar face will be returning to join Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Davis, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker in that galaxy far, far away. Earlier today, actor Warwick Davis posted a rather humorous video (seen below) announcing that he’ll be back in director J.J. Abrams’ STAR WARS: EPISODE VII.

Davis made his debut as the Ewok Wicket in STAR WARS: EPISODE VI – THE RETURN OF THE JEDI. He also appeared in STAR WARS: EPISODE I: THE PHANTOM MENACE as two new characters — Weazel and Wald. As of now, it’s unknown whether he’ll reprise one of his earlier characters or if he’ll be portraying someone new to the universe.

STAR WARS: EPISODE VII also stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie and many others. It opens December 18, 2015.
