INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 3 trailer delivers the chills

Focus Features has revealed the teaser trailer for INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 3, a prequel to their hit paranormal franchise. This time around, Leigh Whannell, the writer of the first two INSIDIOUS films, will also be sitting in the director’s chair, taking over for longtime collaborator James Wan.

INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 3 takes place before the events of the first two films and follows returning characters Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye), Tucker (Angus Sampson) and Specs (Whannell) as they attempt to help a teenage girl (Stefanie Scott) who’s been targeted by a malevolent spirit. The film also stars Dermot Mulroney.

INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 3 arrives in theaters May 29, 2015.
