I met with Dan Dinean and Todd Rowland to discuss what was new and upcoming with AEG since I love their products. If you don’t know them, certainly check out their games. In 2015, they are looking to expand their love letter line with licenses from different media and they were able to show me their THE HOBBIT and BATMAN variations of the game with a few slight modifications to the original game. I also learnt that an ARCHER and ADVENTURE TIME version are due out later in the year.

Also due out from them and continuing in their boxed series is RUMPELSTILTSKIN, a game where you take turns identifying your opponent’s character while protecting your own, and PATRONIZE, a trick-taking mechanisms game that features seventeen types of people cards, all with different abilities.   

Finally, I saw DARK SEAS, a tile-based game where you try to become the most notorious pirate of the seas. Each player builds their island, filling its ports with docks, hideouts, and more.
