POWERS, the popular 15-year-old comic book series by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming, comes to life tonight as a live-action, episodic series and with it comes a new trailer.

POWERS follows the story of detective Christian Walker (Sharlto Copley) as he solves superpower-related crimes alongside his new partner, Deena Pilgrim (Susan Heyward). Walker is no regular officer; he used to be a “power” himself named Diamond. With his powers now gone, he uses his past experience as a hero to go after Johnny Royalle (Noah Taylor), the new bad guy in town. In order to take down the villain, though, he’ll need to look behind bars for assistance from Wolfe (Eddie Izzard) — the man who took Walker’s powers in the first place.

The first episode of the new series is directed by David Slade (30 DAYS OF NIGHT). POWERS airs tonight only on PlayStation devices.
