Ryan Reynolds reveals first look at DEADPOOL costume

Earlier today on his official Twitter account, actor Ryan Reynolds gave the world their first official look at the Deadpool costume (below) that’ll be featured within the upcoming film alongside the message:

While there’s been no confirmation to whether or not that’s actually Reynolds in the costume or if it’s just a CGI rendering (the eyes do look rather animated), it’s pretty easy to tell that there’s a lot of passion going into the character’s look and that both Deadpool and his fans are being respected this time around (unlike his mouth-sewn turn in 2009’s X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE).

DEADPOOL is currently shooting in Vancouver, Canada with a release date scheduled for February 12, 2016. Directed by Tim Miller from a screenplay by the writing team of Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (ZOMBIELAND), it stars Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Gina Carano, and Ed Skrein.
