Jon Bernthal has been cast as The Punisher in Netflix’s DAREDEVIL series Season 2

Marvel Studios and Netflix have just announced that Jon Bernthal is going to play Frank Castle, or as he is better known, The Punisher, in the second season of Marvel’s DAREDEVIL. Bernthal is best-known for playing Shane in AMC’s THE WALKING DEAD and most recently starring in David Ayer’s FURY.

The anti-hero Frank Castle is one of the biggest thorns in Wilson Fisk’s side and he usually doesn’t play well with others. Frank Castle’s family was killed and it turned him into a vigilante. This is very exciting news and I hope that this pushes the negotiations of Jason Statham as Bullseye.
