James Gunn confirms title for Marvel’s GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 2!

Since it was announced that James Gunn would be directing Marvel’s GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 2, fans have been speculating on the title for the sequel. Gunn confirmed today that the name of the movie is Marvel’s GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Vol. 2. The main cast of Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, and Bradley Cooper are returning plus some others, but Gunn is keeping that info close to the chest.

James Gunn also announced last week that the sequel would have some changes to the way the story is told. “I think it’s a more emotional movie; it’s both a bigger movie and a smaller movie because we focus more intensely on the characters,” said Gunn. This is all very exciting news and I can’t wait until the release of the sequel.

Marvel’s GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Vol. 2 will hit theaters on May 5th, 2017.
