Entertainment Weekly has released the first image of Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Stephen Strange. This is from the upcoming film Marvel’s DOCTOR STRANGE, directed by Scott Derrickson.

From the looks of the photo, they are really sticking to the source material, especially his costume. He is in the classic blue, has the cape, and has the white hair on the sides of his head to finish the look. This is Marvel’s first dive into the mystical realm of the universe and it puts them one step closer to matching up with the expanded comic book universe.
