David Bowie passes away at 69

Today, we lost a very talented artist to cancer: David Bowie. Since 1962, he pushed to bring his own style into music, but his first mainstream hit was Space Oddity in 1969. Once that track landed, there was no looking back, and he ploughed through the industry with hit after hit. With each hit, he created waves that have rippled through the industry ever since.

With his acting career, he was always cast as characters that suited his personalities well. These films include LABYRINTH where he played The Goblin King Jareth, and Nikola Tesla in Christopher Nolan’s THE PRESTIGE.

In the last few years, he has been battling cancer, but late last night; he was taken away from us. On a personal note, I love his music. I feel like his genius flows though the music and he will forever be in our hearts.
