Mondo and Rob Liefeld team for DEADPOOL poster

With DEADPOOL breaking the fourth wall into theaters this Friday, it was only a matter of time before Mondo released a poster based on the new superhero flick from Fox. And how did they go about it? They teamed with DEADPOOL’s creator, comic book artist Rob Liefeld.

Announced earlier today via Fandango, Liefeld had no problem sharing his enthusiasm for getting to work with Mondo:

“I am a huge fan of all things Mondo and when the opportunity to illustrate a Mondo print celebrating the Deadpool film presented itself, I leapt at the chance! I love drawing Ryan Reynolds in his Deadpool costume, he looks amazing and is the true embodiment of the Merc with a Mouth! I’m so thrilled with the print and excited to get it out to the fans of the comics and the film! Thank you Mighty Mondo!”

Liefeld’s limited edition DEADPOOL print will hit Mondo this Friday, February 12th — the same day the film releases. It’ll become available at a random time, so be sure to watch Mondo’s Twitter and Facebook pages for updates.
