Netflix and Marvel release teasers for LUKE CAGE, IRON FIST, and THE DEFENDERS

Marvel Netflix

Right from the beginning, the Marvel/Netflix partnership has had a very solid plan: Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and then, finally, a show that would bring all four heroes together: The Defenders. Sure, there’s been some additions along the way — a second season of Daredevil as well as the development of a second season of Jessica Jones plus a Punisher solo series (he made his first appearance during DD Season 2) — but now that original plan is coming full circle. Today during SDCC 2016, Marvel revealed three new teaser trailers based on upcoming series exclusive to Netflix.

Actor Mike Colter’s Luke Cage first appeared during Jessica Jones Season 1 and now he’ll be receiving his long-awaited solo series. Co-starring Alfre Woodard, Simone Missick, Erik LaRey Harvey, and Mahershala Ali.
