Officially announced that GAME OF THRONES will have a short Season 7, end with Season 8

Today, HBO officially announced that their award-winning series GAME OF THRONES will end with Season 8. Most of the fans knew that this was coming due to where the show is with characters and the upcoming war. The first part of the 7th season will be shorter than normal with only 7 episodes instead of the usual 10 and the second part is said to be short as well. Also, Season 7 will arrive a little later than usual in the Summer rather than the typical Spring release as they have done in the past.

Personally, I think the new slogan should be more like “Winter is just about here” with the 7th season being divided and the series wrapping up in the 8th.

Season 8 will release in 2018 and end one of the best shows to ever be on television.
