Funko and DC’s latest subscription box has released and we have it!  The theme this time around is “Batman VILLAINS”.  This is a bi-monthly subscription box, which you can pay for per box at $25 USD or you can pay for an annual membership at $150 USD.  Both price points are before the taxes and shipping charges.

The POP! for this box is Catwoman.  It isn’t just the current iteration or from the movies but she is the original design created by the man himself, Bob Kane.  She was known as “The Cat” back in 1940 in the purple costume, the green cape, and her whip.

The only little issue that i have with this figure is that she doesn’t stand.  I can’t tell if its a balance issue or her feet might not be level. Of course, it could just be my particular figure so you might need a little help keeping her standing up.  It isn’t enough to take anything away from this cool figure from Batman’s history.

The Dorbz figure this time around is a of Two-Face.  There are so many things about the little guy that reminds me of the comic book version of the character.  For example, the orange and blue suit made me think about some of the bigger color contrasts that Harvey wore in the books.  Also, the half green face with the white hair is classic.

The patch is on the larger side and its Bane.  The patch is black with red, menacing eyes that are surrounded by white designs. The pin is of The Riddler. It is green with his name in a cursive script and the villains face looking mysterious and stylized.

The exclusive mug is of The Joker and it looks like The Clown Prince lopped the head off of his own POP!  He has the swirling eyes and his hair is the perfect shade of green.  The mugs are great for so many foods and beverages.

The comic book is a re-cover of The New 52 Batman issue 23.2 and Batman, Robin, and The Riddler are on the cover. The art is, of course, in the POP! style by Adam Archer. The hat is a snapback with a little bit of The Joker all over it. The front has his face on the sewn in emblem and there are “J” cards on the back. The brim is purple on the under brim with both the DC and Funko logos in black.

This is a solid box with many items connecting directly to the history of Batman.  The POP! and the Dorbz figure are my favorites here.  They are helping me and other collector’s complete their sets from both lines.  Check out the review video to see more about this box:
