3d or 4k what would you choose?

If you could only get a large screen tv in either 4k or 3d what would you choose?

Basically my budget will only allow for a top end 1080p with great 3d or a midrange 4k.

Not really a fan of home viewing 3d so deffo 4k for me.

Midrange 4k? 4K IS 4K regardless buddy

But then you have to take into account the content that you will actually watch in 4k

it the upscaling to 4k that i've been reading on the reviews which is stopping me by a 3d4k in my budget, lots of motion blur etc. And i guess at 55" how much differernce am i going to notice with the 4k unless my nose is touching the screen

and the wife works for sky which we get fre, so i won't be moving to Netflix anytime soon.

Still waiting for the 4K media. I'm pushing off the purchase of a new TV in hopes that OLED pricing drops.

I just watched some 4k streamed content from Amazon prime on my Dad's TV this past weekend. My blu-rays look better. If you dont own a 4k tv yet there is really no need to until later this year when Ultra HD Blu-ray comes out. It will come with HDR and Wide Color Gamut so it's supposed be far superior then crap 4k streamed content.

I'll be popcorn in hand waiting ...

If you need a TV now then just make sure the one you purchase will be capable of handling the new UHD BD specs.
