Brooklyn mobster and prolific hit man Jimmy Conlon (Neeson), once known as The Gravedigger, has seen better days. Longtime best friend of mob boss Shawn Maguire (Harris), Jimmy, now 55, is haunted by the sins of his past—as well as a dogged police detective (D’Onofrio) who’s been one step behind Jimmy for 30 years. Lately, it seems Jimmy’s only solace can be found at the bottom of a whiskey glass.

But when Jimmy’s estranged son, Mike (Kinnaman), becomes a target, Jimmy must make a choice between the crime family he chose and the real family he abandoned long ago. With Mike on the run, Jimmy’s only penance for his past mistakes may be to keep his son from the same fate Jimmy is certain he’ll face himself…at the wrong end of a gun. Now, with nowhere safe to turn, Jimmy just has one night to figure out exactly where his loyalties lie and to see if he can finally make things right.

Says he hates guns then only plays part where he shoots guns for 90 % of the movie.I can't watch anything this guy puts out.Seems he is just playing the same role over and over anyway.

I agree, Neeson needs to mix things up a bit. He has been doing projects which are way to similar to each other...
BUT I will say, This looks pretty awesome and better then any Taken movie imo. I personally love Kinnaman as well.

Hope this is good!

Neeson's found a niche that works for him... playing a bad-ass who, yes, just happens to shoot a lot of guns. I've always been a fan of his, whether he was Darkman, Rob Roy or Qui-Gon. He's no different than all of the other action stars out there who never mix things up, either (Statham, Stallone, Schwarzenegger, etc.). In fact, I'd actually say that he is slightly different because he still does the occasional comedy (Ted 2, A Million Ways to Die in the West, The LEGO Movie). This looks like another awesome high-adrenaline flick from action-star Neeson!
