Lionsgate have revealed the amaray artwork and I think it looks pretty cool. It is better than the existing artworks at least, I wouldn't mind the Steelbook using this artwork (with minimal text of course).

That art could really work on steelbook if there's only the title or the title and Christian Bale's name.

A nice gloss finish it would look quite nice I must admit. Certainly better than any current "official" art doing the rounds.

Looks pretty good! I could do without the black/white Scarface thing. One color would look better. Here's hoping an Asian company or Film Arena does a full slip with the business card design.

i dont understand. didnt this get released in february by entertainment in video as a amaray/? why is this getting re-released again?

EIV just lost the rights to AP. They pushed out a quick release to sell (in Feb.) before the(ir) rights lapsed. Now Lionsgate has the rights back.

this is great news. the amaray artwork they used was dogshit. lets hope lionsgate does a much better job

Apparently so, but the release will be delayed due to the rights reverting back to Lionsgate.

Probably just as well, since the EiV Blu-ray, released as recently as February of this year, was a 1080i (interlaced) transfer.
