It's reverted back topics original distributer, and the news a while back is that a release is still planned.

If this is ever released its not going to be live for too long before being sold out. Seems a popular film that deserves a steelbook.
Now, where is The Abyss Mr Cameron?. Hoping we may get that soon.

Rumour is that this has been cancelled by the studio - or maybe its the new distributor?

Whatever the case, it's still listed at Zavvi - then again, so was The Killing Fields - and they cancelled that!!

I just read on a different site that following the return of distribution rights to Lionsgate, Zavvi are now moving forward with this release.
They were originally looking for a March release, but plans were scrapped due to the original distributors poor choice of artwork.
But now it looks like Lionsgate can put together a "much better" release.
New release date is expected around September.

The UK Blu-ray from lionsgate is released on 6th July 2015
Be interesting to see what the Blu-ray Disc Quality will be and what extras the disc will have

This should then give us heads up on what disc most likely will be in the steelbook assuming the Steelbook will be a Lionsgate release

Yep all 3 of those = pass! One of the most requested steelbooks of all time and Lionsgate are going to destroy it!
