I agree with you. Most of the time, if not every time, the first image they put up looks great!
And that's what I would want on the cover. I haven't seen this movie so I don't yet know if I want a steelbook for it.
But if I did, I would want that first art as well. But those usually go to the amarays.

Brilliant film with a really lousy WWA Steelbook.

Seems to be happening a lot recently

I wonder if all the major premium retailers are paying to be able to choose what artwork they require for their exclusive premium release first and then what ever is left on the table is then provided as a generic WWA release

That way we all end up paying a premium for decent artwork.

Can anyone remember the last time a WWA release artwork was superior to a premium exclusive?
