tinto brass titles are clearly arrow's worst selling releases (seeing them at lowest prices and on sale all the time, also when looking up which arrow titles are in how many collections on database sites you will see that they are not selling well). don't get me wrong, i really love tinto brass, but i don't think giving his films the steelbook treatment would be a good idea; even more because the transfers on BD look crappy (even the DVD's are better).

if the blurays do sell bad its probably because you can already buy them all together in one dvd collection. if the blurays are such poor quality it makes them redundant.

but the main point is erotic steelbooks could be done. actually there is one tinto brass dvd steelbook for beyond the valley of the dolls lol

but yeh, to be on topic i think this title will sell out quite quickly

Basic Instinct is one of those good '90s thrillers that never gets old IMO. Will go a head and order this one just in case it does become hard to come by. The only title I've gotten that's been labeled as "Ultra-Limited" that sold out and never came back in stock at some time or another (correct me if I'm wrong) was The Aviator.

I did not expect a release for this movie on Steelbook, anyway kind of interested in this, Sharon Stone makes a great femme fatale, she sure had the looks but of course she may not be.

I wonder if the disc will be the same Optimum Releasing disc, according to dvdcompare this release has no special features but is uncut, the American release seems to have the extras.

but in all seriousness, june is a long way away, and history tells me zavvi will show no restraint in the amount of steels they release in one month, and on top of that other non exclusive releases that will come out.

even if they do sell out on pre orders, by the time june rolls around the release schedule will be rammed, people will cancel

I know everyone feels Zavvi lies on these numbers, but it actually sounds reasonable. There's always a pre-order rush and then it slows dramatically thereafter once the stragglers who forgot the date or respond to the low stock e-mails trickle in. Probably the same for most releases.
