Yea i know it look silly, but im a huge fan of practical effects. i miss the old time with puppet and real set. And who doesnt love this song !!!

Oh, I totally agree with you on practical effects & the lot. The Tim Burton feel etc.
But the screenplay is basically a five page pamphlet! It goes from point A to point B! Such an interesting idea deserved a much better fleshed out script.

I just watched it! Really funny! Cheesy effects but it was an 80s film! I will keep my steel!
