Saw it last night. Awesome movie! But the endfight left me wanting, it was kinda bad. Rest of the movie though!:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

Should just be Black Panther on the front of a BLACK PANTHER steelbook in the same way that it should just be Thor on the front of a THOR steelbook (IMO).

This Dolby Cinemas poster chosen for the U.S. (WWA?) steelbook . . .

. . . is hopefully one of at least two regular steelbook choices.

One thing to be said is that it's a world away from what we usually see from Marvel regarding official posters . . . and is more the type of imaginative art that we'd call "Pop" or even "Illustrated" and more something that the WWA steelbook designers would create as something totally different to the official posters . . .

Examples of the more usual - and similar - Marvel posters:-

The rest of it:-

Saw some reviews saying it was the best of all the MCU movies made, thought it was a solid 7 out of 10 kinda film

Agreed. It had a few cool moments and I really liked the cast... but it felt too safe again. I really hope one of these days Marvel dares to go a bit darker an grittier. Probably not, seeing as they're making a ton of money with these movies.

I do look foward to Infinity War

Saw it last night. Yeah, was ok but am forgetting about it already - definitely NOT the best of all Marvel movies made, pre order cancelled. Seriously, i don't get what all the fuss was about.

Give it a day or two and you might change your mind. I thought it was way better upon a second viewing

Ok, will do. Problem is though, i can't recall one scene that made me want to jump out of my seat with excitement, and i need at least one of those in movies of this ilk. Put it this way, the "Pacific Rim: Uprising" ad.......now, THAT made me sit up! Haha, but still, your advice is sound.......and noted.

So, bigass spectacle before engaging wellwritten story? :p

Haha, not really - preferably both. With intense and gritty characters. For me, Black Panther left me feeling underwhelmed, with not many characters that i cared for. "Pacific Rim: Uprising" at least looks visually arresting and alot more intense, don't know about the story though, as i haven't seen the first movie so i don't know whether it's a well written story or not. Guess i'll just have to wait and see, i s'pose.
