I hope Warner use the artworks from John Alvin or Drew Struzan for the Steelbook. Alternatively the artwork from the DVD Tin-Box would be a very good choice.

@tha_lunatic, thIs is the original logo, a very minimalistic design. Studios did much much worse artworks, for example Rosemary's Baby from Paramount.

This upcoming wave of Warner SteelBooks will probably be another matching set using symbols or art that nobody wants followed by the usual "why can't they just use the official movie poster" comments.

Yes, I fear that too. The people who make these decisions should be fired. I just can't understand it, with all the great artwork, it should be so easy...

It can't be that, because it's brown and not pink.

A few arguments as to why you don't like the artwork would be helpful...

It fits the dark and dirty look of the movie. We have incorporated the original symbol and the slits give the design a futuristic look.
