Sony Electronics July 13 launched a new “3D Experience” on-demand streaming service for owners of Bravia 3DTVs, offering promotional video clips, movies, sports and music in 3D.
The service is launching in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Canada and Germany. The service eventually will expand to Sony 3D Blu-ray Disc players, the company said.
Among the content available at launch were highlights of the 2011 Wimbledon tournament, trailers from Green Hornet and Monster House, and several promotional music clips.
