Win, Win on both counts....

This steel really needs to be gloss to see it's true beauty..IMO
Last years BB copy of Thor was one of the roughest finishes I have ever seen. If this turns out the same then I'm glad I passed....

I think they have a nomenclature issue. I was also told the 300 SteelBook was silk finish. I've changed it to matte in the post to avoid confusion

Thanks for the confirmation. I've just seen the video. I like this steelbook. The finish doesn't look as rough as Thor 2 or a streaky matte as some Studiocanal steels.

Ouch... in my experience, when you see a price drop on FS and the item is still in stock, you re-order at new price and then cancel original order.

Saves a LOT... and I mean a LOT of problems...

I had the same dilemma, and when I called FS CS, they said they will based it from the time you ordered and the price during release date..I think they don't have access to price history so they can't know if there was a price drop

Gloss is overrated. This is the ultimate CA2 SteelBook bar none.

Cancelled all other orders and going with this one. Well done, Future Shop.

Other SBs without the title might as well be put in the bin.

Blufans would be nice too, but remember you are paying 2 or 3x the price.

The FS version is gloss!

The blufans release only works out around £10 more for international customers in the GB for this

As much as I love this version the Novamedia and Blufans are the true connoisseurs choice.

I am pretty sure Psychoscot had missed something. The steel is definitely matte. But a nice matte by the looks of it.

Zerox confirmed to me earlier that it's gloss finished and on the images I've seen it looks full gloss.
