I just received my copy of this from the Zavvi sale. The embossing seems to be misaligned. The thing is it is the same as some others I have received recently (Filth and Up being two I can remember off the top of my head). Is it a manufacturing defect that is becoming more prevalent or is this how they are supposed to look?

Embossing on mine was a bit out of register too, obviously a production defect, but i don't think that's becoming a standard... the embossings on the recent Kubrick's wave look definitely well done.

I'm far more curious about the copies without the number, how many here with no laser etching?

Received mine today - NO INDIVIDUAL NUMBERING. Even though the card states it is, remove card, NO NUMBER.

Do Zavvi have an explanation?

People reported similar issues when this was released, so it's not a new thing.

the unnumbered copies have been around since the beginning. so i don't think it's a reprint... imo.maybe just kind of misprinted without the laser etched numbers, or a small unnumbered batch of promotional copies accidentally mixed into the official 4k? we just dont know.

either way, and not only in this case, how good for the whole community would it be to have a representative person of zavvi here on the forums to clear open questions just like this one. i think HDN would deserve this.
