As a 'thank you' for the help and advice that I have received from members, I am hosting a small giveaway to show my appreciation. You're the best .

Details:

Open to all registered members.
One entry/post per member.
The giveaway will run for one week and will close on August 14th.
There are three prizes and the winners will be chosen at random.
Please list which prize you would like to win (if more than one, list in order of preference).
I will cover the cost of shipping.

Congrats on making this superb site your second home! Here's to many more years! Thanks also for a top quality giveaway. I would love the Tarantino OSTs.

As for a favourite OST and composer, gonna have to say Ennio Morricone and his work with Sergio Leone on Once Upon a Time in the West along with those for his Dollars Trilogy. Still beautiful and haunting to this day!

congratulations! as a recent joiner to these boards, i can certainly understand your enthusiasm.

very generous offer, thank you. almost impossible to state a number one composer, but i reckon in the top group would be (alpha) John Barry, John Carpenter, Clint Mansell, Ennio Morricone, Howard Shore, John Williams, Hans Zimmer. but yeah, John Williams probably wins it.

As for composers....
Number 1: Howard Shore --> Just for his incredibles work on the Lord of the Rings Trilogy (please forgive him for The Hobbit Score)
Number 2: John Williams --> He is just THE MAN!
Number 3: James Horner --> An incredibles Artist with some really great score. So sad that he passed away.
Number 4: Danny Elfman --> Some really enchanting scores. Not so great at late but still good.
