Like many, I think the Zavvi version is adequate.
I had a look at what's included in the directors cut, and it seems like a few seconds here and there in a few scenes.
Not enough to warrant an upgraded disc to me.

I really like the zavvi Version, have not opened it yet. I did not even remember that this movie had a DC. I placed an order, is expansive but I want the DC.
That depends on the studio releasing it. This is 20th Century Fox but It may have a different transfer as it's the Directors Cut.

the zavvi steelbook does include all the deleted scenes

I love this film but too much to double dip plus I like the bad guy he's the best worst bad guy if it makes sense like a vicious Freddie Mercury
This is now nearly 8000YEN which is a bit of a joke...Anyway based on the fact that it has not sold out immediately like most of the MArvel stuff and Lucy etc and the fact that Amazing Spiderman 2, Ghostbusters 1 & 2 and a host of recent new relsease have seen a substabtial decline in price within a month of release I am going to take a gamble and hold off on this one.
