wow this is a long thread and full of excitement and passion. i just read through it after a long 3 years' absence. i did not enjoy rust & bone (in fact i abandoned it halfway) so wasn't going for this. but this packaging especially the title calligraphy is nice. and very surprised that both versions are still available.

i am a purist. i insist that film titles must be in their original language first and foremost. any english title if in addition should be in smaller print. so i had little hesitation opting for design B french title. this is one of 9 PA releases that i ordered this month.

It is a very nice edition. I’m not sure you will enjoy it if you didn’t like Rust and Bone though, it’s a similar style but slower story. I thought it was well acted but not something I can see myself watching again.

yes i couldn't resist embossed title calligraphy especially in their original language. this one is done very nice in pastel green. i would have ordered rust & bone too if it was still available.

i will wait for a suitable time to watch this movie. it should be ok as i'm used to watching slow art house movies. in fact i will rewatch rust & bone to find out why i couldn't enjoy it the first time round.

It is a very nice package, both the green and pink versions do look good. It’s unusual to see these colours used ok Blu-ray packaging so it makes a nice change. I preferred Rust and Bone out of the two but I have to be honest and say I didn’t love either of them. If you don’t mind slow movies though I’m sure you will be fine with this one.
