size seems odd at first but when you look at image it makes sense since its just square like ... Wouldn't want something longer vertically. My only next question since I dont know ........ is 24x24 a common frame size or is it all custom framing.

I've never seen a 24x24. It's gotta be custom. I dont mind odd sizes because if that's what the artist intended then that's fine but the price is already high, and add to that custom framing...
