ppl here buy literally anything in hope to make a quick buck

100% truth for 90% of all people here

So it's very likely that you are one of those out to make a quick buck then.

Seriously, there is no need for such general comments / accusations which do nothing to enhance anyone's experience on this forum. Especially when you are making the statistics up as you type them.

I think it's a slap in the face to the guys over at Plain and Novamedia when you compare their hardwork to mass produced garbage from big box chain retailers that sell washing machines and refrigerators.

Missed the boat on this one. Not for lack of trying, though - I was one of those people who tried for 3 hours and could never get past the first page. I guess I'll have to feed the scalpers on ebay.

I have never traded or sold any of my collection
I like many others purchase a release to have in their collection never to be sold or traded
I have over 300 steelbooks all of them will never be sold or traded

? Did you attempt to place an order and miss out on :p and now don't have one to be in your trade section :giggle::LOL:

I ordered both the Full Slip and the Lenticular both edition's will be always in my collection
There will also be lot of other collectors doing the same who purchase just to have it in their collection

seem like the same BS about scalpers and ebay talk always get mentioned on kimchi and nova threads , then one of the moderators will post to say keep this talk to another thread and seems to be the same people time and time again .
it gets boring:yawn::yawn::yawn::yawn::sleep::sleep::sleep::sleep::sleep::sleep:
and as for the 90% out of 100% , i find that very untrue

saying people will buy anything to make a buck might not be so far from the truth when a steel like guardians of the galaxy was met with unanimous repulsion on its reveal, with many collectors wanting a petition to halt its release *lol* but when the same steel comes with bells and whistles from a certain asian retailer, all of a sudden there is this renewed interest in the steel.

i bet people will be staying up until 3am to secure their copy, they will skive off work and cancel whatever plans they have at that moment in time when that steel goes live.

call me cynical but i think it has something to do with the anticipated (and almost guaranteed) soaring in value the edition will see after release, especially from those asian retailers...

but anyway, i didnt bother with this drive, i have the hmv one and while this nova edition is nice, i didnt think it was worth fighting over one at the checkout. i didnt even try and im not that bothered.

I'm one of those that dislike guardians but will try for the nova, for a couple reasons, none of which are for scalping purposes. 1. I'm a sucker for full slips, 2. I'd like to complete my marvel collection with my fave marvel movie. The interest in the steel isn't renewed, but justified, if one with better artwork comes out I'll be replacing it. I think you're very cynical if I'm honest, you're saying majority of buyers are scalpers when in reality the amount that ends up on ebay is a fraction to the actual print run of the steel.

If people want to change there minds on a steel because of who is distributing it, let them. Who gives a **** at the end of the day
