@eonedirect
I assume that the titles we are being asked to vote on are already being considered by eOne for a Steelbook release in the UK, hence the poll.
They have an interesting and varied catalogue, many of which I already own, and a number of which I would love to see released as Steelbooks.
In addition to some of those in the poll, which I have already voted on, I would also like it if the following eOne titles were to get a UK Steelbook release. My choices are not the usual blockbusters, which tend to find favour on this forum, but rather those of a more cerebral nature.
"12 Years A Slave"
"A Most Wanted Man"
"The Water Diviner"
"Suite Francaise"
"Child 44"
"Mr Turner"
"How I Live Now"
"The Perks of Being a Wallflower"
Other eOne titles I would have added, had I not already got the respective German and Japanese Steelbook releases, include
"Prisoners"
"The Impossible"
"Side Effects"
As far as Mondo releases are concerned, Mondo artwork tends to be more effective for certain genres, such as science fiction and horror, than it is for others. So rather than a specific series of Steelbooks with Mondo artwork, I think they should continue with their current policy of treating each title on its own merits, as evidenced by the artwork for their UK Steelbook releases of both "Looper" and "Ender's Game".
In any event, it's good that a representative of one of the UK distributors is taking an interest in what the collectors here would like to see, as regards future Steelbook releases. If only the major studios could be as amenable.
