I know it was a few days ago that he passed away, but I thought we could put a few comments here in memory of this excellent actor.

Although he made more than 200 films including some very famous ones, including of course his Oscar winning performance in "Marty" in 1955. I particularly like a film which, as far as I know, has not seen the light of day on Blu-ray yet - "Emperor of the North". Borgnine, played the part of a sadistic conductor on the 1930's depression era trains, always trying to throw off the "hobos" trying to get a free ride.

Which of his movies have you particularly enjoyed?

Had the pleasurenof meeting him a few years back. One of the nicest people i ever met. True definition of a Hollywood great

He will be missed
