Here are some of my favorites from the 2000's (can't remember all off the top of my head but here goes):

    Dawn of the Dead(2004),
    [Rec],
    Pulse,
    Silent Hill (both movies),
    Resident Evil series,
    Jeepers Creepers 1 & 2,
    The Descent 1 & 2,
    Ghost Ship,
    Primal,
    Wolf Creek 1 & 2,
    Dale & Tucker vs Evil,
    Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead,
Cabin Fever (only the first one, 2 & 3 are a waste of time viewing),
    Ginger Snaps,
    Dog Soldiers,
    The Thing,
    The Crazies,
    It Follows,
    You're Next,
Oculus (not the strongest out of this bunch but was unique. Worth a watch at least),
    Mirrors.

That's all I can remember for now and sorry if some were mentioned earlier.

    Dawn of The Dead
    The Descent 1 and 2
    28 Days Later
    28 Weeks Later
    High Tension
    Jeepers Creepers
The Thing (not as bad as many says)

If I would pikc just one of the above it would be High Tension (also called Haute Tension and Switchblade Romance) That movie really caught me off guard, what a wonderful trip back to the slasher genre!

I didn't get on with Pontypool. I don't like films that don't show you what's going on and expect you to do all the hard work. "Oh just imagine what's happening". No. You're the filmmaker, it's your job to entertain me.

I like films that require you to use your imagination. It's so different from most zombie films.

not really a favorite movie title. But I really like the found footage movies. Those seem so much scarier to me.
