Hmm yeah... that's happened to me with old childhood films on more than a few occasions. Hopefully the nostalgia is still there with this one though, if nothing else.

Received today and it's just like Short Circuit with a very nice high gloss finish , no embossing or debossing. I will try to put some pictures up later if no one else has already.

Even though I would still buy this film again if they released it with the poster artwork this is still a very nice steelbook

I think the same about the inside art as I did with short circuit.. the black and white looks washed out.. would have loved some great (coloured) art inside both steels.. but the fotn looks better than sc.

Received mine too... has a few light scratches which is a shame, but meh to Zavvi's customer service.

Overall I love it! Really liking the artwork and it's thick with gloss.

Now I don't want to start a storm in as teacup but that's a full gloss finish for you (faint marks, paint stretching on the corners etc. . . . heard it all before unfortunately).

My advice .. Spit and polish and 5000 grit sandpaper should do the trick
