This is zavvis 'Middle Finger' to all those loyal customers, and proves once again, that it is a waste of time preordering, especially catalogue titles, as they will inevitably be discounted. This is still too expensive even at £12.99 though.

just ordered this and the departed using code BANK10 works out £23.38 for the pair, so £11.69 each its only the gloss finish on this that has made me bite if i'm honest.
it may go down to £9.99 in bit of time i but don't see it much lower tbh so not going to argue over £1.70.

anyway glad i held out knew this was never going to stay at £16.99 same old zavvi tactics

Unfortunately, it is still the same atrocious transfer. The remastered transfer has never been released in the UK.

I think you're gonna have a long wait @Pegk87 for that. But I wouldn't mind another edition as I love this movie.
As far as this one goes, I have it and really like it. The high gloss finish looks great and the flag on the back is beautiful. And I don't see what's so bad about the front artwork, but that's just me.

I have paid for 2 already because the 1st came smashed and scratched everywhere and I cannot send a pic to zavvi from their site and I sent 10 emails to feedback@thehutgroup and they say they never received it. The 2nd copy had only one dent on the bottom same as last one but scratched everywhere. I'm never buying another non Disney Zavvi. It's not worth it. I actually like the steelbook but the quality control was terrible on this one. The scratches make it look awful.
