Interesting to see that the Tripack is already being listed on eBay for around $300! No prizes for guessing who the sellers are.

I fully expect that many of the individual Steelbooks purchased in the GB will also end up being listed there, probably at double the prices paid for them.

I just don't see the purported altruism frequently put forward by these people that they are merely fulfilling the needs of the secondary market. To me, it's avarice, pure and simple.

I look at this from both sides- Whilst eBay scalping is seen as despicable behaviour in many instances (and personally I don't condone said practise, and would never personally purchase an item that is limited in quantity in the express manner of selling it on to make a profit) it also gives collectors a second chance to buy said items, especially when they are latecomers and would otherwise have no way of owning it.

For instance, when I first started collecting steelbooks, the play.com Iron Man edition had long sold out, before I had an inkling of what a steelbook even was. This meant I had to pay at least double of the original retail price to own it.
However, if all the copies were purchased by collectors who had no intention on selling their copies, then i'd be in a position where I wouldn't of been able to own that edition.

Ultimately, if customers are willing to pay over the odds to own a product, then that's down to their own discretion, and how much they are willing to pay in relation to how badly they want to own the product...

I was in the Round 2 GB and made payment on the 12th November, are you saying we will not get the free case?

The closing date for all in Round 2 was also by the end of November. My understanding throughout is that I was included in those getting a free case, when did that change???

I was in the round 1 GB and made my payment on the same day. You sure you're in round 2?

There were two Tripack GB. That is not what is meant by Round 2. There was a 2nd opportunity to get the Full, lenti, 1/4 slips.

Ahhh, gotcha. Well, round 2 of the tripack started 2 days before round 1 for the full/lenti/quarter. I assume Xin means the second chance GBs that started in February?

The 1/4 slip lacks that little something special for me. Lenticular is by far most impressive and the full slip is not bad at all. 1/4 slip needed a little panache. The free case came dented but that's fine. The three I bought is all I cared for. Thanks @wxlinkswd and all involved for an excellent release
