During its press conference at E3, Sony Interactive Entertainment finally announced the next God of War game, coming exclusively for PS4.

The game, that has been in development for a long time at Sony Santa Monica Studio, comes with a brand new setting within the frozen lands of Norse mythology. The first monster we get to see is in fact a troll.

Interestingly, Kratos is older, and now he’s taking care of a child, teaching him the way of the warrior and hunter.

We also got a glimpse on the soundtrack, by 'The Walking Dead‘s' composer Bear McReary.

This game look phenomenal! Too bad this won't be released for the PC. I just love God of War games and this one...WOW! Those graphics are bad ass. It looks like this will be my next PS4 purchase.

yeah, strikes me as a game the critics will love and the gamers/fans will hate.This whole son thing is really gonna hamper this game imo.Sony seems to be making the last of us in all there major games now.Kratos doesn't need a son or someone to teach.

PS4 Exclusive God of War Gets Awesome Kratos Action Figure and Replica Axe

At San Diego Comic-Con, Neca announced a partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment Santa Monica Studio to create two products from the upcoming God of War game.

The first an awesome Kratos action figure. It’s seven inches tall with over thirty points of articulation and some really, really nice sculpting and detailing done. It captured the new bearded and fatherly look of the formerly violent hero definitely well.

The second is a foam prop replica of Kratos’ new axe that will become his main tool of the trade in the new game. It’s 36 inches long, and perfectly safe to swing around.
