Other Bound Ed Goodfellas 25th Anniversary Blu-ray amaray w/book [USA]

Looks like it will be the same as The Sound of Music was at Walmart
As its a Warner release its most likely same packaging style as
Once upon a time in america directors cut
The Exorcist 40th Anniversary release

Each of these were a Cardboard Slip Box with Amaray Blu-ray case and Book inside

We will soon find out if its the same

That is exactly what Sound of Music was as well. It was thought to be a digibook from the beginning, but ended up not being one. I still like the package and the book it cam with. It is not to often in the US that we get a nice full slip to compliment the movie.

REC & REC 2 Warner digibooks released in Spain are both locked to region 2.

From what I remember outside of USA/Canada they were not actually region locked

Spain/UK/Europe Rec 1 is a 1080i/50hz disc and not a 1080i/60hz disc

German Blu ray Rec is 1080p 24fps

Canada Blu ray release REC 1 is 1080i 60hz

Blu-ray player capable of playing 1080i at 50Hz pal works fine

Lot of early USA Blu ray player like USA PS3 cant play 1080i/50hz pal

As long as your Blu-ray player and TV can play 1080i/50hz the discs will play

Spain Rec 1 is region free 1080i 50hz needs a blu ray player and TV that's capable of playing 1080i 50hz
Spain Rec 2 is region free 1080p works on all players

another wasted opportunity.
poor artwork for the cover so far the Canadian steelbook is the only release that I care to own.
I have the US digibook, but not keen on the border (hence its on my selling pile)
This could have been great, but no.
still, it saves me some cash I guess.

Thank you very much. Good idea of Warner to put all extras on the boinus Blu-ray so the movie itself have enough space.

But what is with the documentary from the 20th Anniversary bonus DVD?

The DVD that came with 20th Anniversary Digibook was Public Enemies: The Golden Age of the Gangster Film (SD, 106 minutes) It is a documentary but it doesn't focus on Goodfellas is more about history of gangster films with most been the ones from the 40's

What we are getting now with the 25th Anniversary Edition is a lot better than the 20th Anniversary

It's actually released by Filmax Home Video in Spain

Warner Bros only deal with distribution, not manufacturing.
Also, do you mean Region B? Because Region 2 is only applicable to the DVD format

@paulboland, I know, but it would be cool, if the Anniversary Blu-ray have all the existing extras(this documentary includet).

And I dont like the new coverart without Joe Pesci, a friend make this artwork based on the original poster artwork:

Maybe in a other country come a second cover version, time will tell
