Gremlins 2 steelbook

I have ordered the Gremlins steelbook yesterday and I think its pretty weird that only part 1 gets a steelbook treatment.

It would be cool, if they made a steelbook for part 2 with the same limitation rate(not the 2.5 K) and a mat finish, so both match better together.

The colors match perfectly to the Gremlins 1 steelbook and both artworks are painted.

When a steelbook come, I hope they use the originalposterartwork.
Not the daylight version of this(Gremlins and daylight......not a good idea), that are used for some DVD.

I imported the st Amaray BD from amazon.com as its not available here in UK & have to say even though I am a fan of this movie the PQ is poor in places. It seems like WB did not give it a decent transfer the grain in places is more like video noise from the LD era!

If it does get a steelbook I hope it also gets a new transfer from WB.

The big question is, if the upcoming 30th anniversary edition of part 1 become a new transfer.

Sadly, Warner is a poor label in terms of quality.
