Agree with you buddy, thats why imo, Nova best release so far is Drive. If nova did a WEA for GOTG then jackpot. But i think the only one that can do a WEA for GOTG is Blufan.

Well this is interesting. From Nova's FB:

Dear International Customer,

Today we would like to inform you that due to an allocation
mistake, we have unfourtantly over-sold GotG Lenticular A version.

After discussing this problem with the Publisher, we decided the best option for our loyal customers would be to raise the print run of GotG Lenticular A version from 500 to 580 to insure all orders from our customers are fullfilled.

We are deeply sorry that we made this mistake and therefore had to make this hard decision but our only other option would have been to have canceled 80 customer orders.

In light of our previous problems we did not want to let our loyal customers down this time .

We sincerly apologize for any inconvience this might cause. We are working hard at NOVA to insure this type of mistake does not happen again.

We hope you , our loyal customers , will find it in your hearts to forgive us for making this mistake.

I do not see a problem with the solution whatsoever. They are forthcoming with info about the problem and how it was solved.

Nova may not be the best retailer but I do appreciate that they try to keep the consumer informed and in this instance satisfy the completed orders that mistakenly oversold. Sure their servers could be better among other issues but they do seem to at least somewhat care. Not to mention I like the products they produce.

So surely they'll have to re-print all typa A lenti covers as they will have been numbered up to 500 right? Unless they're going to have up to 500/500 and then 501-580/580 seperately - which will be weird and inconsistent...

Nova didn't print the limitation numbers on the slips on previous releases. Instead it was printed on a sticker. So I guess they will just replace the old numbering stickers.

Ah ok, this is my first Nova so I wasn't sure, I thought they were one of those companies that print directly onto the slips like Blufans

Yeah it's just a little sticker on the back mate, shouldn't be an issue

Good thing they don't have to reprint all the slips otherwise we'd have Wall-E length delay on our hands, I feel for the little guy that's gotta sit peeling all the stickers off though lol

My thoughts exactly.

Although inconsistent, it would provide a quicker solution than to replace all stickers and shrink wrap.

I think they should have just increased the print run by 500 and share them between the two lenticular editions. That many would not have devalued the items due to the huge demand.
