I'm with you 100%... I've said it before, but I think they should've wrapped it all up with Infinity War.

Gunn confirms that he'll return to direct Guardians of the Galaxy 3...
So, yes, I’m returning to write and direct Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. In the end, my love for Rocket, Groot, Gamora, Star-Lord, Yondu, Mantis, Drax, and Nebula – and some of the other forthcoming heroes – goes deeper than you guys can possibly imagine, and I feel they have more adventures to go on and things to learn about themselves and the wonderful and sometimes terrifying universe we all inhabit. And, like in both Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, we will work on creating the story that goes beyond what you expect.

And his full post for those interested...

Would be nice to see Captain Marvel hang out with the Guardians like she has done from time to time in the Comics (some very lol scenes with Rocket and Captain Marvel's "Cat" - Chewie)

I really like that Gunn is returning, you can see he has a lot of love for the characters

Could this be a hint for a certain character in the next guardians movie?

Disney Fires James Gunn From the Guardians of the Galaxy Movies
:OMG: :OMG: :OMG:
Source: ScreenRant
Disney and Marvel Studios have officially cut ties with Guardians of the Galaxy film series writer and director James Gunn. The decision was made shortly after older tweets from the filmmaker's now-deleted Twitter account (where he jokes about topics like pedophilia and ****) were brought back to light.

Walt Disney Studios chairman Alan Horn has confirmed the decision in an official statement. Gunn posted his own statement (of sorts) to his Twitter account prior to deleting it, writing "Many people who have followed my career know when I started, I viewed myself as a provocateur, making movies and telling jokes that were outrageous and taboo. As I have discussed publicly many times, as I’ve developed as a person, so has my work and my humor."

Here is the statement from Horn, concerning the decision to fire Gunn from the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise:
"The offensive attitudes and statements discovered on James’ Twitter feed are indefensible and inconsistent with our studio’s values, and we have severed our business relationship with him."

Sorry, but that's just ridiculous. I mean, is there anyone who hasn't told an offensive joke at some point in their life? Hell, some comedians make a living off it! Plus those tweets were made like a decade ago, and he's clearly grown as a person since then. What annoys me most though is that Disney still employ people like John Lasseter and Johnny Depp, who've been accused of much worse things! GOTG isn't GOTG without James Gunn as far as I'm concerned.

First Lasseter, now Gunn, won't be much talent left other than blue or red haired SJW's sitting at the board table. USA, you really are taking the whole I'm offended thing too far.

Dude - it was ALOT. And posting video links to pubescent porn.
This was not just one comment - but a ton. He deleted 10K tweets last night.

(There is a scary undercurrent of pedophilia that exists in Hollywood)

Hmm OK, they're not the tweets I originally saw! Joking about something (not that those tweets were even funny) and actually doing it are two different things... BUT it sounds like people are suggesting there may be more to the story, so if true, then I'm certainly not going to defend that type of sick behaviour/person.

P.S. I removed the screens of his tweets from your post, just to be on the safe side!

James Gunn said and showed a gross, disgusting sense of humour during the early years of his career. No doubt about it. BUT all of that came to surface before GotG Vol. 1 started. Disney and Marvel knew about it. He publicly apologized and all was forgiven.

Now that he’s been doing the political thing online and targeting Trump, NOW it’s suddenly a big deal. Disney goes and fires him for things he wrote and said and showed 10-15 years ago that they already knew prior to GotG Vol. 1.

This is pathetic.

I don’t agree with his jokes, but let’s take a look at the amount of comedians over the years who’ve said offensive, disturbing remarks who still have a career. If James would’ve kept his mouth shut about politics, he’d still be doing GotG Vol. 3. Disney/Marvel can say what they want, but it’s lies. They knew everything from the start and they’re just pandering to the online career-assassins.

Thanks! (Maybe that is best)
Also, let it be noted that I hate PC outrage culture - BUT, if there is something truly bad happening, it should be addressed.

It wasn't political - it was business.
Hollywood is left wing - they would celebrate his admonishment of the president, not punish it.
Disney is purely looking out for their bottom line.
