Here are the most wanted Steelbook releases, as voted for by members of HDN according to the 'Feedback Forum'.

The idea of this thread is to gather the information from threads in the feedback forum and present it all in one place. Studios/Retailers may take notice if our Steelbook wants are presented so clearly. The only rules are that it can not have had a Blu-ray Steelbook release before and must have a majority of yes votes. If you notice a title that is missing (or subsequently matches the criteria), then please post below with a link to the thread.

Halloween 1978 would be great. Probably be matt finish with the iconic logo in spot gloss, or go full gloss with embossed logo.

On a side note
2 movies I'd like to see but are not on the list :-( 12 monkeys and Fifth Element. I guess no love for those films :-(

I would love 12 monkeys mate, its one of the movies I want on steel the most, its on the list under 25+yes votes:thumbs:

No star trek... Wrath of Khan should at least be on this list...

Awesome list...

I am only compiling results from polls in the 'SteelBook™ Feedback' section. So if you see a title you want is missing from the list, find an existing thread and bump it so that it gets enough votes. If there isn't already a thread, start a new one (I would recommend creating a new thread for each title so that the results are easier to see). As far as I can see, there is only one thread related to Star Trek films and it doesn't have a poll..

Is anyone on here a wes Anderson fan? I've never seen him mentioned on here (HDN in general not just this thread) I am personally a massive fan and I think films like the royal tenebaums, the life aquatic with Steve zissou (my fav), the Darjeeling ltd, fantastic mr fox and moonrise kingdom would A) look absoulutely stunning and amazing in steelbook form as all his covers are vibrant and although it is always people on the front of his covers they always look the part B) bill Murray will be on the front of most of them and C) those films would look amazing on bluray. I own fantastic mr fox and moonrise kingdom on blu ray and all his others on DVD. (I know there was a few more before tenebaums like bottle rocket and Rushmore but IMO they aren't as good as the rest. Anyway I really want to start a buzz with wes Anderson steelbooks. p.s. D) it's wes Anderson!
